As if walking up stairs wasn't enough, Kathy Smith gets into the extreme sports arena with Power Step Workout. This sequel to her 1992 basic step class pumps up the volume on aerobic exercise. She begins with a warm-up then proceeds to teach a vigorous three-part workout. Each of the segments is increasingly difficult, culminating in a highly energetic routine. As usual, Smith teaches toned down versions of each. But, the title suggests, Smith is after the advanced step student, one who is looking for a challenge. Power Step Workout is recommended for all skill levels and with Smith's own partners demonstrating the multiple possibilities, this tape can adapt to the owner.
