About the Author

Dr. Kharrazian earned a Doctor of Health Science degree from Nova Southeastern University, his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences, and a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. He is a member of the American College of Nutrition, the Institute for Functional Medicine, the Council of Nutrition, and the Endocrine Society. He is a Diplomate of the Certification Board of Nutrition Specialists, a Diplomate of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition, a Diplomate of the International Board of Applied Kinesiology, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Neurology.  Dr. Kharrazian is one of a handful of doctors of chiropractic that has been awarded the designation of Fellow the American Academy of Chiropractic Physicians.  He has served in various educational capacities with several institutions. He is currently an  associate professor of clinical neurology for the Carrick Institute, and conducts ecducational programs for the postgraduate department for the University of Bridgeport.  He has published numerous professional papers, several clinical manuals, and more than 30 educational CDs on various topics. He is a product development consultant to the nutrition industry and has been involved with the formulation of nutritional products such as metabolic creams, nutritional and herbal formulas, sublingual hormones, and metabolic foods that are used widely by health care professionals.  Dr. Kharrazian has a private practice in San Diego, California. His practice is restricted to chronic and challenging patients suffering from immune, endocrine, and neurological disorders that are seeking alternative medicine approaches.
