Overview

This crystal-clear field recording from the mountains of the Philippines (you can even hear birds brightly trilling in the background) provides a rare record of music set in a vital surrounding. The primarily solo pieces are played on lute, fiddle, reed pipe, and gong, revealing flavors of China, India, and Africa.
