This solid, informative handbook deals with the recreational uses of GPS units, including a new sport called geocacheing that involves leaving small keepsakes or treasures at locations subsequently posted to a web site; hunters must use their GPS skills to locate the treasure. The authors explain how the technology works and give an overview of what units are available for what price.
