Overview

Chapter 1: The Secret Valley.

The Nephilim lived in the Hidden Valley, which was in the middle of a beautiful land and surrounded by huge mountains. They were also known as the "Great Ones." The Nephilim were kind giants who could talk to animals and make flowers grow just by smiling. The Hidden Valley was different from all the others, and only the most beautiful animals could find it.

Eli, a little Nephilim boy, went outside one beautiful morning, just as the dawn chorus was starting to play in the valley. Eli had hair that shined like the sun and eyes that were as clear as a lake. He heard a soft, sad chirp as he walked through the lush fields. As he looked around, he saw a small bird hopping around in circles, looking confused and scared. Eli went down and spoke to the bird in a soft, sweet language that only animals in the Hidden Valley could understand.

The little bird named Flap got lost and couldn't find its way back to its nest. Its wings were tired, and its heart was full of fear. Eli knew exactly what to do because his heart was as big as the mountains that circled their valley. He told Flap that he would lead him home.

Eli and Flap started their journey together, walking carefully through forests where the trees whispered old secrets and passing streams where fish danced in the water. All the animals that lived along the road agreed with Eli when he asked them, "Have you seen where Flap's family lived?" The squirrels, bunnies, and wise old owls all nodded and blink.

While they were traveling, Eli told Flap stories about the valley and the mountains. He talked about how the Nephilim had helped the flowers grow so big that you could sit on their petals like chairs. He also talked about his conversations with the bees, who were full of news from outside the valley, and how he sang songs to make the old, sad rocks happy.

What seemed like an adventure trying to find a home turned out to be a lovely day full of laughter and new friends. Flap learned that when you think you're lost, you're actually on a path to discover new places, and Eli learned that helping someone could lead to a great friendship. As the velvet sky sparkled with stars, they climbed the biggest hills and peered into the coziest corners until they found Flap's house. The young bird's family had been looking for him everywhere. When they finally found him, they were so happy that they held a party on top of their tree, where they sang songs for Eli and thanked him for being good. Eli's heart felt warm and happy as he looked around at all the happy faces.

The moon smiled down at Eli, the stars winked, and the flowers stayed awake a little longer to light their way. As he walked back to his house that night, the valley looked even more beautiful. Eli knew that this was just the beginning of many exciting events that were to come in the Hidden Valley. Every day brought a chance to meet new people and go down new paths. Chapter 2: What Eli Did on His Journey

When they set out on their trip, the sun was shining brightly and sending golden beams their way. A long time ago, a good Nephilim boy named Eli and his new friend, a small bird named Flap, went on a great adventure. Their goal was to find out more about the huge world beyond the Hidden Valley. With their long, soft steps, Eli and Flap, with their delicate, flapping wings, made a very strange pair.

Eli carefully walked over the smooth stones, making a path for Flap to hop on. Since Flap couldn't swim, he was scared of the water. But with Eli's help, he felt strong and safe. The first thing they had to do was cross the Merry River, which made the mountains smile and wiggle its toes. The water in the river was clear, and there were lots of happy fish swimming around like tiny silver arrows.

They met many different kinds of animals along the way. For example, the Whispering Grasshoppers told them secret routes and the Dancing Butterflies showed them flower fields where they could rest. Eli and Flap helped their new friends at every stop. They freed a caterpillar that was stuck in a spiky bush and helped a colony of ants find their way back to their mound after rain messed up their scent trails. Flap would fly up a few times to make sure they were going in the right direction. He would then rest on Eli's shoulder and chirp about the clouds and skies he had seen. Eli listened in shock, realizing that even the tiniest animals had interesting things to say. Eli was amazed by how big the world was. He saw, heard, and smelled things he had never experienced before. And Eli showed Flap where to find the ripest berries and the coziest trees to rest on. Flap taught him bird songs. As the days went by, Eli and Flap ran into new problems, like where to stay during a sudden rainstorm and how to comfort a Rabbit who had lost her family. They worked together to help the rabbit find her home, and Eli learned that small acts of kindness can make people feel the happiest.
