Overview

Purpose: The intent is to provide an up-to-date, interdisciplinary collection of articles to facilitate the healthy development of children and adolescents.
Audience: Primarily useful for child psychiatrists and child psychologists, the book would also be valuable for allied mental health professionals and educators.
Features: Drawings, tables, and graphs clarify the written material. The references are pertinent to the text but many of the references are not recent.
Assessment: This book contains articles on a wide variety of topics to emphasize the interface between medicine, behavioral science and the education system in the treatment of children and adolescents with psychiatric disorders. Of particular interest are papers that discuss later developmental issues of autism.
