About the Author

Rex Miller was Professor Emeritus of Industrial Technology at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He taught technical courses at all levels for more than 40 years and authored over 100 books, including Carpentry and Construction, Sixth Edition and HVAC Licensing Study Guide, Third Edition.

Mark R. Miller is Professor and Coordinator of Industrial Technology at the University of Texas at Tyler. He has authored over 40 books, including Electricity and Electronics for HVAC and Miller’s Guide to Home Plumbing.



Mark R. Miller (Tyler, Texas) is Professor of Industrial Technology and coordinator of that section of the Department of HRD & Technology at the University of Texas at Tyler. Dr. Miller teaches courses in construction for future middle managers and has authored or co-authored more than 35 technical books and many technical articles.
