Jodi Meadows lives and writes in the Shenandoah Valley, Virginia, with her husband, a cat, and an alarming number of ferrets. She is a confessed book addict and has wanted to be a writer ever since she decided against becoming an astronaut.

Cynthia Hand is the New York Times bestselling author of the Unearthly trilogy, The Last Time We Say Goodbye, and My Lady Jane (with Brodi Ashton and Jodi Meadows). Before turning to writing for young adults, Cynthia studied literary fiction, and earned both an MFA and a PhD in fiction writing. She currently resides in Idaho, where she teaches creative writing at Boise State University.
