Overview

Molecular Pathology of Gynecologic Cancer focuses on putting successful molecular strategies into practice for the treatment of gynecologic cancer. Purpose: The purpose is to put in context the molecular events that are important in the development of gynecologic malignancies. The authors place these events in the clinical context of the diseases they describe. This is an important issue in the emerging understanding of these diseases and this book clearly meets these objectives.
Audience: The audience is healthcare professionals caring for women with gyneclogic cancers. The authors have addressed this audience at an appropriate level.
Features: The authors cover what is currently known about the molecular events that lead to each of the gynecologic malignancies. These discussions are comprehensive, well written and clear. They also cover the hereditary aspect of these diseases. The book is superbly written.
Assessment: This is a complete compilation of the molecular events leading to gynecologic cancers. There are no other books that compete with it or address the issues it does.
