Includes links for video and online references; a master link is given to access a bonus PDF with 10 valuable charts and 170 reference links.

Unlike other loom knitting books, this book includes a valuable chart on looms listed in their gauge. It also suggests equivalant needle ranges, yarn weights, stitches per inch ranges and even the right crochet hook to go with it all. Metric numbers are also included for the UK/AU standard for yarn. This was a true labor of love and features a chapter dedicated on Gauge! Also found are how to read patterns and charts, how to convert a needle pattern with a handy reference chart, and calculate formulas for how much yarn needed or stitches to cast-on!

Besides all the reference materials, you will find 10 patterns included.

About the Author

Kristen Mangus first learned to crochet as a child from her great Aunt. She discovered finger knitting (closely related to loom knitting) and enjoyed it so much she got in trouble at school for knitting in class! After her fibrous trouble she tried latch hooks and plastic canvas until junior high school. Then Kristen worked with her mom making crafts including homecoming mums, puff paint shirts, jewelry and anything with a glue gun! Kristen's Krafts was born and continued that entrepreneurial spirit into college. She started Angelbearries Floral Designs after working at MJDesigns making tons of bows, floral crafts and wedding florals. Interior Design beckoned. Kristen ended up with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Texas Christian University in 1999. For years she enjoyed professionally space planning, forecasting for future challenges, and problem solving with Interior Design. But she was missing her "crafty side" and didn't know it... Upon experiencing the pains of post-partem, after her third child in 2010, Kristen decided to pick up knitting and crochet books and learn as a form of therapy.  The books came in and she studied them and went onward to a late night trip to Walmart. She happened upon a set of Knifty Knitter looms and thought...this looks easier!  Having carpel tunnel at the time meant the looms were less strenuous! She found the directions were not so great and was disappointed with the designs.  "Why can't loom patterns look like needle versions?!". And so her new journey began.  In January 2011 Kristen started the YouTube channel GoodKnit Kisses (known as GoodKnitKisses on YT). It has been quite a journey so far and through having 3 kids, a full time career, an YouTube at night it finally became time to jump all the way. In late August 2014 Kristen took the leap of staying home with her kids and working on GoodKnit Kisses (GKK) full time. Today GKK has over 137K Subscribers and 20 Million views with people getting the help they need and having fun!
