This budget-line set combines the Kenny Rogers collections Greatest Country Hits from 1990 with Greatest Country Hits, Vol. 2 from 2001 in a single two-disc package (even though, at 21 songs, both would have easily fit on a single disc). There are some big hits included, like "Lucille" and "The Gambler," but others, like "Ruby Don't Take Your Love to Town," for instance, are not, so it's not an ideal collection, but at least everything is the original version and not a do-over or concert performance. ~ Steve Leggett
