God of the Gaps encourages followers of Christ to deepen their prayer life and grow in their intimacy with God during difficult life seasons.

Struggle is the great equalizer. At one time or another, every person will experience some type of challenge that will leave them lingering between a struggle they are facing and a solution that they are waiting on. This in-between place is called the gap. Gaps do not discriminate. People from all ages, income brackets, genders, positions of power, levels of education, backgrounds and ethnicities are going to travel through the gaps at some point. These seasons of struggle can either push individuals away from God or draw them closer to Him. God of the Gaps challenges people with and without a prior link to God’s heart to recognize His presence in their gaps and His desire to connect with them during these times of questions, doubts, hurts, and emotions.

About the Author

Christie Love is a church planter and pastor in Springfield, MO. She leads The Connecting Grounds Church, an outreach focused church that strives to meet the unique faith needs of people who are in seasons of struggle and hardship. She draws on her own experiences of church hurt, difficulties, and personal pain to connect with people where they are. In addition to serving as a pastor, Christie is also involved in advocating for social justice, educating people about the impacts of poverty and homelessness, and challenging the church to be active in meeting practical needs of people in their communities. She and her husband Bob blended families and are blessed with four amazing kids between them whom they are so proud of.
