About the Author

Christie Love is a church planter and pastor in Springfield, MO. She leads The Connecting Grounds Church, an outreach focused church that strives to meet the unique faith needs of people who are in seasons of struggle and hardship. She draws on her own experiences of church hurt, difficulties, and personal pain to connect with people where they are. In addition to serving as a pastor, Christie is also involved in advocating for social justice, educating people about the impacts of poverty and homelessness, and challenging the church to be active in meeting practical needs of people in their communities. She and her husband Bob blended families and are blessed with four amazing kids between them whom they are so proud of.
