About the Author

Joy McKenzie received her BFA in photography from the Kansas City Art Institute, did graduate work in Studio Arts at Memphis College of Art and received her MFA in photography from Southern Illinois University. She is currently a professor at Watkins College of Art&Design and is author of "Exploring Basic Black & White Photography" from Delmar, Cengage Learning.
