Overview

Evidently not held in high esteem by Corman buffs, the film is often dismissed by synopsizers as "horror tale" or "science fiction yarn." This is the incredible (but credibly told) story of an extraterrestrial sphere that rolls along beaches, "consuming" unfortunate humans by absorbing their energy. Based on a novelette by Judy Kirky, the film does wonders within its $40,000 budget.
