Considering the potential inherent in the teaming of "It" girl Clara Bow with pioneering female director Dorothy Arzner, Get Your Man was something of a let-down. When she's accidentally locked in a Parisian wax museum overnight, Nancy Worthington (Bow) falls in love with her reluctant companion, wealthy French nobleman Robert de Bellecontre (Charles "Buddy" Rogers). Hoping to trap Robert into marriage, Nancy later frames him in a compromising situation at the boy's mansion, stripping down to her lingerie as part of the plan. At the last moment, she relents when she realizes that there are more legitimate ways to land a husband. Even so, she's not above blackmailing Robert's flirtatious dad (Josef Swickard) into helping her break up the boy's engagement to ice-princess heiress Simone Villeneuve (Josephine Dunn).
