Overview

In this unusual western, set in 1897, three outlaws return to their homes in Carson City, Nevada to try to abscond with the gate receipts of the upcoming championship prize fight between Jim Corbett and Bob Fitzsimmons (an actual event). A perceptive sheriff, asks the men to become his deputies to protect the cash from ticket sales. The criminals are not deterred until the leader finds his former gal and changes his mind. He double-crosses his partners, kills them and saves the day.
