Overview

In contrast to typical studies of organized crime families, Beyond the Mafia presents a comparative perspective of ‘non-traditional' organized crime in the United States. The book begins with a discussion of the definition, study and control of organized crime and continues with five sections that present illuminating coverage of organized crime.
