Dr. Rasheedah Cooperwood Jemison has served in education, as a teacher and leader in various capacities, for over 22 years. She has served in many cities including Buffalo, NY, Atlanta, GA, and Camden, NJ just to name a few. She is currently a principal at a PreK-8th grade school in Tennessee where she resides with her husband and two wonderful children.

Makayla Jemison, the youngest of the Jemison family, also known as the artist Zephyr, is the cover creator for all of her mother's e-books. She is aspiring artist, interested in both the visual and performing arts and will be entering 8th grade in the fall.
