An acclaimed master of both transgressional fiction and side-splitting satire, Chuck Palahniuk is perhaps best known as the author of the book that inspired the 1999 hit movie Fight Club. Although his work was originally rejected as too disturbing for a modern audience, Palahniuk achieved success with his books Haunted, Survivor, Choke, and many others.
