Known for her own particular brand of magical realism, Alice Hoffman is the author of more than 30 works of fiction, including Practical Magic, The Red Garden, and the Oprah’s Book Club selection Here on Earth. Other books include The Museum of Extraordinary Things, The Dovekeepers, and most recently The Marriage of Opposites — an inspired fictionalized retelling of the life of the rebellious woman who gave birth to the father of Impressionism, Camille Pissarro.
