A warning to the reader. This novella is all about fears. The fears you are about to read may become your own. If that happens, it may take years before you can overcome them. Read at your own risk.
The novella begins with Bill driving a 1960 Ford Falcon. Bill's own fears have led him down a lonely interstate to a deserted boarding house. He has lived most of his life in fear and now he wants it to change.
He meets a strange old man named Joe. Joe has a process that changes lives. After Bill completes the process, his worst fear is realized.
Not only is Bill's future rewritten, but your future may change.
