About the Author

George "Harley" Davidson likes animals, and we don't mean "hogs." His unfortunate nickname has carried over from childhood. He has never owned a motorcycle. His first job out of college was in the art department of a daily newspaper, but he gradually moved over to the editorial side. He has worked for publishing houses in New York and London. He has a small dog, pictured herein. He is against whaling and dolphin roundups and killing baby seals. He once stepped into a cage with a tiger at a zoo, and survived. "I said, 'Nice kitty kitty," he reports. Moving across the editor's desk, this is his first published book.
