Ron de Haas (1959) is a Dutch writer of columns, short stories and poems. In particular, the Japanese haiku has gained a special place in his heart.
His short stories "De Valse Start", "Conflict" and "Janssons Verleiding" were recently published as an e-book. His son Roelof (1993) designed the book covers.
In 2013 the book "Vijftigplus perikelen" was published, in which Ron candidly reports on his experiences as a middle-aged man. He never avoids self-mockery and irony. The columns were previously published in a number of local newspapers and on some websites.
