Zipping the bag shut is an autobiography. You can call it a simple life, but is life or death truly simple? So many highs and lows, births and deaths.....it is so meaningless until you come to the realization that this can not, and is not, all there is. We are never alone in our pain, struggles, failures, successes, and our happy times. Jesus is right there, knocking on the door of our heart. He wants to be there for all who truly believe. Just don't wait too long to answer the door.....the bag gets zipped shut for all of us. Everyone has a story about their life, and this is mine.......

About the Author

Born Ruby Lee Perman , in Lodi, California. The year was 1959. She , and her family, moved to Nevada in 1969. The first couple years in Nevada were spent on an alfalfa farm approximately fifty-three miles from Battle Mountain. She immediately fell in love with the rustic beauty of Nevada. She began writing at eleven years old, a story about a wild horse. The dream of being a published author was now growing strong. In 1979 she married William Bryant. They had two beautiful children. They were, and are, the light of her life. The grandchildren were a blessing beyond words. Ruby worked at Battle Mountain General Hospital for twenty-six years. She also worked for the local newspaper as a stringer, and had her own column, " Our Town". She is a born again Christian, and member of Hilltop Baptist Church. Ruby still resides in Battle Mountain.
