About the Author

Katishonok Elena was born in Latvia, graduated from the philological faculty of the University of Latvia. In 1991 he emigrated to the United States, where he still lives, teaches Russian, is engaged in editing and translating, writing poetry. She made her d_but collection of poems "Bloknote" (Hermitage Publishers, 2005). Three years later, in collaboration with Eugene Palagashvili 'out hunting pheasant "- a striking fusion of images with poetry workshops, they resonate (M * Graphics Publishing, 2008. NOVEL "Jili byli starik so staruhoi" in 2009 he joined the short list of the most prestigious literary awards, "Russian Booker".
