His original plan was not to be a crimefighter, but to be a criminal! He was disgraced as a detective at Scotland Yard, and chose to create his amazing costume to exact revenge and begin a successful life of crime – but Fate stepped in, and when he discovered the Rattler Gang killing policeman, a new mission was formed. ZERO THE SILENT was part man, part fly, part spider and all courage! He arrived in 1931, though much of his early history as a pulp icon remains unknown. His cape and cowl came long before Batman and Phantom – he's one of the first costumed crimefighters of any genre and format! These are his earliest stories!
