Overview

Golf is more than a game, it's a philosophy of life.
One day after an early morning martial arts class, Jack decided to play golf. This was not an unusual day, but on this day he realized that his time on the course seemed like a mental repeat of his time on the mat. This is when Jack was struck by an epiphany. Both golf and the martial arts are inward journeys; therefore, the same Zen principles used in the martial arts can also be used to enhance golf. This also means that golf can be a path to finding "the Way".

Zen In Golf is the byproduct of this epiphany. It reveals how Zen principles are woven within both the game of golf and the fabric of life. This book combines Zen techniques and quotes to enlighten readers so they may find the inner peace needed to improve both their golf games and their journeys through life. Jack R. Giangiulio, D.C., B.S. has worn many hats as a chiropractor. He has been an award-winning educator, writer, speaker, media expert, and business owner. He is world renowned for his ability to get professional athletes, dancers, martial artists, and, yes, golfers back into the game. He accomplishes this by teaching them Zen principles and techniques he learned during his decades of martial arts training. He’s coined as saying, “Aikido is the golf of martial arts.” This is because whenever he stepped off the mat or off the golf course, he always felt as if he could have done much better. His epiphany was that golf, like many martial arts, is an inward journey; therefore, Golf can also be a path to finding “the Way”.
