From a small town in Arkansas, Brittany Booker always wanted to do bigger things with her life. She graduated in 2013 with a BA in English from The University of Ar-kansas at Monticello. She plans to go back and get her MA after getting on her feet with her book and literary career. She is the co-founder and literary agent at The Booker Albert Literary Agency, where she represents several amazing authors.

When she isn’t reading manuscripts, writing YA, or read-ing queries, she likes to spend time with her family, her boyfriend, and her Chihuahua, Zeus.

While the story has a sweet love story between Nehmer and the new kid in school, a hunk named Eric, Your Soul to Take is mainly about the fight between good and evil, with an emphasis on free will. The characters are well done, three dimensional, and very realistic. The plot is strong, riveting, and has enough twists and turns to make it very hard to put down.

Booker's second novel is a well-written as her first, her characters just a realistic and believable (if angels and demons can be considered believable) and her plot just as strong. The book is a page-turner, no question. I was riveted from the first page to the last.
