Overview

Our Habit Body is our very best friend, recording and remembering every daily routine for us. Habits are reactivity set on automatic, behaviors conditioned to repeat.
If this is so, how come the one thing human beings do better than anything else is making the same mistake over and over and over again?

Based on results, we don't know as much about our habit body as people think. Fortunately since about 1990, after the convergence of Touch for Health and NLP, we have new Tools That Heal to get at the 90% of our habit body below conscious awareness. Find new language here, built on the Three Selves model.

A "habit body" is an easier, clearer, more workable concept than "unconscious." A habit body suggests "I can change this, if I want to." "Unconscious" comes from 100 years ago and more when the unconscious was literally inacessible. Since muscle testing met NLP around 1990, our unconscious became much more accessible, for those who wish access. So we need a more accessible word and model for our unconscious.

The triune brain idea of the 1990s is increasingly passe in neuroscience.  The new brain idea acknowledges much more communication and interdependence than previously thought.  Consequently "fuzzier" but more useful ideas like EQ and our "habit body" are taking over.

These newer ideas are also better openings to therapeutic metaphor, the real horse power of holistic healing.

We have habits on all five frequency levels of our psyche: physical, imaginal, emotional, mental and mythological. Along the way, we'll find personal-spiritual growth is upgrading our habits on any level. Sound like a lot to manage? Your Habit Body makes all this managing easier. Here's the missing manual for anyone with a Habit Body.

We used to say, “He who doesn't know his history is doomed to repeat it.” Now we can say more precisely, “Whoever ignores their habit body gets the same results in life tomorrow as they did yesterday.”

ALL culture can be seen as just a bunch of habits, including your own. As Garrison Keillor puts it, “Culture is what you know is so by age 12.” Fortunately once you can see your habits that need upleveling, you can redirect them with intentioin and repetition. Learn...

• Why we were more lovable when we were young,
• Every day we are “training a new puppy,”
• Why 90% of habits are invisible in 3D,
• 19 equivalent common terms for the “habit body.”

Your Habit Body is written in an interactive, fun style by a Waldorf-trained school teacher and health intuitive with training from MSIA, USM and Waldorf teacher training from Rudolf Steiner College.
