Your Daily Habits
This book is about the daily spending habits of people who seem to never have the money for their much desired necessities such as a reliable car or larger apartment but seem to have money for their daily premium coffee, lunch or cigarettes. It is about the routine spending of money without giving much thought to the opportunity cost of that money spent and what their daily habits are truly costing them at the end of the month. It is about knowing that they have the money they need to purchase that new car or move into that bigger apartment without making a dime more only if they looked at their daily habits.

Throughout the years I have worked at over a dozen different companies across many different industries and, in the process, have worked with people from all walks of life. I have worked side by side with minimum wage earners and worked my way up to working with upper management. While every co-worker in the past or present has been different, I have noticed a few striking patterns. The first pattern I noticed was that no matter how much money my coworkers were making, it was never enough for a few extra necessities. They wished that if only they made a little more money they would be able to afford the things that was important to them. That pattern led me to notice that most of my coworkers were blindly spending small amounts of money several times a day, every day of the week without realizing the true opportunity cost of the money.

This books puts into perspective that if people made different choices regarding their daily spending habits, they would have more money to purchase the things that they really want such as taking their kids to private schools or whatever else that is important to them.

This book is not meant to train you to be cheap or frugal but rather taking a step back to look at your daily expenses to see if there is a problem or not. All we’re doing is a bit of tweaking here and there, not redefining your finances. A small change might be the difference that might allow you to afford a new car payment or pay for your child’s tutoring.

This book is designed to be short and to the point. It is written without any filler just to get the message across. It does not matter who you are or how much money you make, if you could use some extra money for important things month after month this book is for you.
