A new book with a fresh perspective on a daily life with God, “You Said It & I Believe It, Stories from an everyday walk with God” by Christian writer, Sarah Lunsford, is a collection of 30 stories that draw uncommon insights about spiritual life from everyday experiences.
“I decided to start writing about my everyday experiences and how some of them are tied into the truth found in Scripture,” Lunsford said. “Too many times we think there is nothing that applies to our modern lives from the Bible, but when you see how many times their experiences reflect our own, it makes the Word come alive.”
This collection brings the reader a fresh perspective on the everyday. Some of Lunsford’s random musings about everything in life will make you smile, while others will stop and make you think. Either way it’s like eating a little slice of the cake of life in all its various colors, textures and shades with every story you read.
“I think many times we forget that God can, and often does, talk to us in the everyday,” said Lunsford. “All we have to do is stay focused on Him and pay attention.”
