About the Author

Mark Johnson has been a writer since the age of five when he wrote and illustrated his first little book, "Planet X." He writes primarily short stories, poetry (mostly haiku), and the occasional essay. An extended memoir concerning his experiences with the "non-ordinary" will be available on this site soon. He has been published online and in small magazines in California and Australia. He also collects signed first editions of modern fiction and is a devoted reader. Originally from the midwest, he has lived in New York City for the past 34 years.
