Yoga Ramayana Part 3
DISCOVER YOGA THROUGH MYTHOLOGY
Outline of Part – 3
Section 5 – Experiencing Energy and Consciousness
• Begin with the warning sign from the Isavasya Upanishad - People, who do not use knowledge of the consciousness properly, go to even more darkness.
• Go over some very simple experiments to experience the energy and the consciousness within the body.
• One size does not fit all and the same size does not fit us all the time; so be open to try out various experiments.
• Experiments include focusing the eyes on a square, watching the breath, observing pain, repeating a mantra, and using contradictions between Zen and Ramayan.

Section 6 – Connecting Back to the Ved
• Big Bang of Yoga: Translation of the Nasadiya Sukt of the Ved to introduce the concept of the Universal Consciousness, its wish to know itself, and the separation of the energy from the consciousness, which gives rise to the creation.
• Culture: Definition of culture with a core quality - logic being the core quality of the western cultures and spirituality being the core quality of the eastern culture. Discuss the possible origin of spirituality in the Indus Valley civilization; introduce the new concept of Janakiyan culture as a parallel to Hellenic culture; explain its key values.
• Religion and Spirituality: Rise and role of religions; why we need them? Understand spirituality as a common factor of all religions.
• Faith: Discuss blind faith as weak or unsure faith and its transition to direct and continuous experience. Discuss how Yoga relies on experience, not on faith.
• Translate the Purusha Sukta of the Ved; explore how it is different from the Valmiki Ramayan in its type of spirituality, but how in the end, it has the same meaning as the Nasadiya Sukta of Ved.
