About the Author

Pamela Butchart is an exciting young picture book author. Yikes, Ticklysaurus is the second title in this commercial picture book series for Bloomsbury, following on from Yikes, Stinkysaurus! and Yikes, Santa-Claws. She is also the author of Never Tickle a Tiger for Bloomsbury. Pamela is a teacher of Philosophy and lives in Dundee, Scotland.

Sam Lloyd is the bestselling illustrator of Calm Down, Boris (Templar) and has sold over half a million books in the UK alone. She is also the illustrator of Dino-Baby Dino-Mummy and Dino-Daddy for Bloomsbury. Sam lives in Brighton.
Pamela Butchart is a teacher and the writer of many award-winning books, including The Spy Who Loved School Dinners and My Head Teacher is a Vampire Rat. She is also author of of the bestselling picture books Never Tickle a Tiger, Yikes, Stinkysaurus! and the hugely successful Baby Aliens series. She lives in Dundee with her son and two cats.
Sam Lloyd studied at Brighton University where she gained a BA Hons in Illustration. Now Sam is the author and illustrator of many successful picture books for children. Her picture books include Happy Day, Sad Dog which won the Sainsbury's Baby Book Award in 2003, Mr Pusskins which won the Booktrust Pre-School Award in 2006 and the V&A Illustration Award. Most recently Calm Down Boris published by Templar in 2006 has been chosen by Richard and Judy for their Christmas Picks. As well as writing and illustrating books, Sam also enjoys yoga, swimming, camping and doing outdoorsy things. She has been all over the world, including travels to India and Australia. Sam also does a lot of voluntary work with children, painting murals. Sam lives in Brighton with her partner and a cat.
