About the Author

Dr. Crawdaddy is a retired ophthalmologist in Roanoke, Virginia. He reflects warmly and gratefully on 25 years of medical practice. Since retiring in 2016, he and Bella have spent time traveling to see their awesome four adult children and their five terrific grandchildren. Although Parkinson's Disease makes life more difficult, they are still learning to 'count it all joy' (James 1:2-5).
“Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So, we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (NIV)
