Yearnings of a Soul

These are poems expressed by a person who has faced great pain and brokenness, searching for God in their darkness and finally being saved from death itself. The poems are an expression of the thoughts, feelings, questions about one's existence and importance in the midst of grave experiences, that almost feel like suffocating. The expressions are deep and explicit, a cry for help and answers to a God who seems to not be listening... and then finally a final act of being saved by the very God this person doubted existed.
There are also expressions of purpose, asking about one's existence in the most relatable way...trying to understand if indeed there is a plan regarding their life, having a conversation with God about their thoughts and feelings in this regard.
