About the Author

The Author, M. Venkataraman, hails from Tamilnadu state in India. He worked in various Ministries and Departments of the Central Secretariat, New Delhi. He retired as Deputy Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi in 2004 after putting in more than 35 years of service in the Government of India.

He possesses a Masters’ Degree in English Language and a Post-graduate Diploma in Public administration. He now resides in Bangalore city of Karnataka State in India.
