Yahweh Is Exalted in Justice: Solidarity and Conflict in Isaiah
This book focuses on Yahweh, the "God of justice," in the prophetic book of Isaiah. Each of Isaiah's three parts highlights justice in its own unique way. In Isaiah 1–39 the focus of justice is fidelity and judgment. In Isaiah 40–55 justice is treated as a manifestation of Yahweh's sovereignty and comparability; Yahweh and his servant are the exclusive agents of justice. And in Isaiah 56–66 justice is an obligation of the covenant that can be realized only through divine intervention.
