Overview

Y (Spiritual Journey) is a book of spiritual poems that explore an array of human emotions and experiences. For some of you, it is a reflection in the mirror to your soul. For others, it reveals stories you have lived, lingering memories of silent struggles from within. But for all, it´s intent is to provide insight, inspiration and hope. God is the rock and the foundation of every poem. He is the way, the truth and the light, who will guide you on your journey through this life.

Many of the poems like, Hold On, I Cry and Why? are two pages long because the spiritual messages they convey cannot be told in a couple of paragraphs. About the Author

Yvonne C. Freeman is a single mother raising her teenage son in a world full of confusion, heartache, and turmoil. Like all parents, she wants the best for her child. However, just providing the necessities of life- food, clothing, and shelter is not enough. Her son's spiritual growth is the key to surviving this world without her. She turned to the source, the instructions God left for us all - the Holy Scriptures, the Old and New Testaments, the law and the testimony - the King James Bible. Yvonne is a non-denominational Bible Christian, who has no need for labels, categories, or names to identify her faith. Her faith and belief in God is all that matters. The motivating source behind her poetry is the inspiration of the Holy Bible, which she follows as it is written, and not the interpretations or traditions of man or woman.

The author writes thought provoking poetry that rhymes, so that the spiritual messages they convey are clear and easy for all ages to understand. Love, joy and happiness, to everyone you meet:

• Food to the person on the streetwho have nothing to eat.
• Words of wisdom to every child you meet.
• A helping hand to a friend or even a neighbor in need.
-• Clothing or shelter to a family with no place to sleep.
• A prayer for peace on earth, in a world gone mad, destine for devastation but for the grace of God, who can save us.
• God's truth, straight from the bible, not the interpretation of man.

Let the bible speak for itself, if God said it, there is no doubt about it.
