About the Author

The author grew up in an era where ADHD was not determined yet. He struggled through school with limited ability to focus on reading or his education. Education through his career was also challenging. His desire to read books for pleasure were non existent as he would lose interest early.
It wasn't until his son introduced him to some sci-fi books such as "Ender's Game" and others where he wanted the author to read them and talk about the experience with him. This was quite motivational and pushed the author to read the book through the end in which he enjoyed it.
He decided to try to write Xima. He had many ideas and thoughts but soon lost interest until his friends and family asked about it. He told them of the lost interest and they encouraged him to continue. He invited friends and family to gatherings where they discussed plot progress, and character names. It was that encouragement that helped him finish and pave the way for his desire to both read and write more. Anticipate a sequel to Xima in about a year.
