About the Author

Former software executive turned fiction writer, Frank Thompson often writes under the pseudo-name: François Bivens Thomson; is the eldest son of Rev. Frank B. Thompson, Jr. and Betty Louise (Wooten); was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1955. Frank (François) attended University of North Florida and was working on an MBA before relocating to Orlando, Florida.

After college Frank (François) went to work for NCR where he was an account and sales representative. In 1992 he left the hardware side of the computer industry to sell software and eventually relocated to the Northwest (Bellevue, Washington) where he finished his career in business only to become one of those modern-day, stay-at-home dads.

Frank’s (François’) writing style reflects his business background and conservative outlook on fiscal and social issues. His books are, by design, written to provide like-minded readers with an outlet for escaping today’s troubling times. The topics are, likewise, intended to be provocative, in some cases humorous, wishful and thought provoking.
