My toddler is super wild and full of energy. When he is starting to get restless or even in the process of starting a meltdown/tantrum, I like to use, what i call re-direction. One of his most favorite games is, Would You Rather... Works every single time. Halloween theme because what toddler doesn't love spooky things.
