Worthy of a WINK: God's Place In My Life
Every decision affects our life's pathway; not all decisions are ours alone. Therefore we cannot determine exactly where our path will lead. Family values influence our thoughts, morals, social status, finances, and religious beliefs. Faith, in particular, determines how much emphasis we place on each of these four choices: science, coincidences, premonitions, and divine intervention. My memoirs include reactions to many emotions: embarrassment, rejection, compassion, love, anger, fear, revenge, joy, success, failure, despair, and how I handled each instance. Life's events would direct me on an unknown path multiple times. To understand my interpretations, you'd need to keep an open mind without dismissing them based on your personal ideals. I questioned the reality behind my faith and searched for answers while attempting to understand how all four choices might co-exist to influence my life's direction. Then one day, at age 66, the explanation arrived quite literally in an instant. It appeared in the form of a balloon, a WINK that I reached out to touch as the answer to my Greatest Question.

About the Author

Raised in a Catholic family, I questioned the existence of God because of life’s daily problems. As a scientist capable of understanding life at a single cellular level, I challenged religion versus facts to explain how life works. Many of my experiences were too unusual to explain by facts alone, so I finally conceded that they must coexist.
