Overview

In his first book, "MIND CREATIONS: Sorting Truth From Lies In Science & Religion", the Author described the nature of Reality, something which each of us can verify for ourselves directly within our experience, showing how what we believe to be true about ourselves, and the world, is incorrect. In this second book, the Author looks at the major religions of the world, and other belief systems, to show how they are related to each other, and differ with each other. With a few exceptions, these generally point to the Truth of our existence, but often contain add-on beliefs which are inconsistent with this Truth. Included in this book are significant views from Science; Philosophy; Psychology; Eastern Religions; Western Religions; Ancient and Native beliefs, as well as Alchemy, Paganism and Spiritualism, amongst others. Whilst acknowledging that people's beliefs can be very ingrained, whether they follow a particular religion, or have Agnostic or Atheist views, the Author can see a way forward in aligning different views about God and Reality, and how thinking inconsistent with Truth can be reassessed.

About the Author

Andrew Lacey has had an interest in spiritual matters from a very young age, being drawn to both the teachings of Jesus and the Buddha, in particular. He has always been fascinated with Science and its search for Truth, being astounded by the implications of Quantum Mechanics, Einstein's Relativity theories, and modern ideas coming from theoretical physicists, which all point to Nature being far different to that proposed by classical Physics. As progress is made in scientific research, there is a clear trend in alignment of religious, philosophical, ethereal and paranormal views with the physical sciences. However, there remains a general view within the scientific community towards Atheism and Agnosticism, and similar inflexibility in religious circles, which in the Author's opinion is hindering acknowledgement of the Truth.
