Overview

Now - 1952 - In a far and distant future

From a distant future, a transdimensional raider has invaded the here and now. In his brutal world, knowledge and technology have been lost. He plans to change this by capturing and abducting knowledgeable people from our present, something he already tried once back in 1952 when Anne's grandmother was young. She kept quiet about this and so her granddaughters confront danger unwarned.
Anne's hyper-intelligent little sister vanishes. To seek her Anne must cross space and time and follow her into a gruesome dark world. A sword wielding enforcer whose task it is to kill all those who break the barriers between the dimensions is already on his way.

About the Author

Ju Honisch started writing at the age of twelve much to her parents' chagrin who thought she should apply her time to more useful endeavours. Decades later, useful endeavours still do not seem to be entirely her forte. She has lived in Germany and Ireland and currently abides in Hesse with too many books, too many musical instruments but only one husband. She has an MA in literary studies and history which explains her love for stories with an historical background.

For her first novel "Obsidian Secrets" (the German version: “Das Obsidianherz”) she received the German fantasy award (Deutscher Phantastik Preis) in 2009. The last book in the same series was awarded the SERAPH, the award for speculative literature given out by the Phantastische Akademie at the Leipzig Book Fair 2014.

She writes in both English and German.
