Anastasia Tryphon is Scientific Assistant at the Archives Jean Piaget and Jacques Voneche is Professor of Psychology. They are both with the University of Geneva. Their previous publications include Piaget-Vygotsky: The Social Genesis of Thought (1996)

International researchers honor Inhelder, Piaget's chief Geneva collaborator for some 50 years starting in 1933. In a dozen essays, they tease out her contributions to developmental psychology in such areas as: reasoning in the mentally retarded, the child's conception of space, formal operational thinking, memory and imagery, learning, methodology, longitudinal and cross-cultural studies, and strategies of discovery. The final selection on the experimental approach of children and adolescents is a translated 1954 journal article.
