FULL & HALF-PAGE GRID SIZESThere are
65 puzzle grids in all. The first 50 are half-page sized. When you find all the listed words for these puzzles, the unused letters form a mystery word or phrase when you read them left to right and top to bottom. Space is provided underneath to write these down.
There are a further 15 full-page grids, where the words to be found in the grid are written on the facing page. Each of these puzzles features words with specific double letters. For example, the EE puzzle grid features only words that have a double E in them, like coffee, greek, knee, queen, etc. These grids are a fun challenge as there are decoy wordlets throughout.
DIFFERENT LEVELS OF CHALLENGENot only are words to be found in any direction, both forwards and backwards, but the letters, numbers of symbols which make up a grid a not the typical 26 A-Z letters you'd ordinarily find. Only a small sub-set of the letters of the alphabet are used. This means that there are considerably more close matches than would otherwise be the case.
LETTERS, NUMBERS & SYMBOLSSome wordsearch grids feature letters of the alphabet, or at least a sub-set thereof. Some feature numbers and some even feature greek letters. In most puzzles, you're not looking for specific words, but combinations of letters, numbers or symbols which don't represent any dictionary words at all.
HOW IT WORKSSimply find all the words buried in the grid. Words can be found horizontally, vertically and diagonally. They can be read both forwards and backwards in any direction - but always in a straight line.
