About the Author

Susan Mandel Glazer is professor and director of the Graduate Program in Reading/Language Arts and the founder and Director of the Center for Reading and Writing at Rider University, Lawrenceville, New Jersey. She has authored and coauthored numerous books, articles, and chapters in edited volumes. Glazer served as President of the International Reading Association in 1994-1995.
