Overview

This is a book you will share with your child when they have been "hurt" by a name-calling bully or to prepare them if it ever happens.

It's a no-nonsense approach to "Sticks and Stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me".

The colorful children in this name-calling book familiarize your child with some of the common names' bullies use to get a reaction. If your child learns to not react, it takes away the power of the bully's words.

It's so important to teach children to have the discipline to ignore things that are meant to trigger a reaction of hate or violence.

It's tough love. You're giving your child a life tool instead of a sympathetic hug.

I like using the example of how a Military Drill Instructor would react to a recruit complaining to them that another recruit just called them "big sissy". I don't think the Drill Instructor would give them a hug.

The Drill Instructors job, and your parental job, is to build maturity and discipline. To strengthen. To keep kids focused on things that matter. And to keep them out of trouble.

Even to 4-year-olds. And all ages above.

The kids in this book are so colorful and fun to look at.

Please share this tool with your child. It's very powerful.

About the Author

Kenny Kiskis is a dedicated mentor and parent based in Hilliard, Ohio. With a passion for empowering the next generation, Kiskis brings a unique perspective to his writing, drawing from his experiences as a supportive parent and mentor.

As a proud father, Kiskis has nurtured and guided his two successful daughters, both of whom have carved out impressive paths for themselves. One is a highly educated mathematics teacher, having attained a Master's degree in the subject, while the other has excelled in the field of healthcare as a Nurse Practitioner. Their achievements are a testament to Kiskis' commitment to fostering an environment that encourages learning, growth, and success.

Kenny Kiskis is deeply concerned about the narrative surrounding children, particularly the idea of them being labeled as victims. Through his writings, he challenges this perspective, advocating for a more empowering message—one that instills resilience, self-reliance, and a positive mindset in young minds. Kiskis believes in the importance of teaching children that they have the strength to rise above challenges, empowering them to overcome adversity and shape their own destinies.
